SALE – Up to 70% off selected brand names

Sales in this place are insane, especially at Foley’s, which is a Stuttaford’s type department store. The entire shop is filled with red sale signs, with specials ranging from 20% - 70%. Then after the initial sale, there’s sometimes a further 50% off the first sale price! And on top of that, there are the coupon discounts from the newspaper ads, 10% - 20%. Open an account, and you get 10% off your first purchase. And for every $100 you spend, you get a no-strings attached $10 discount coupon. None of that crappy Edgars-styled “get 5% off your purchase of 1000 Ront or more” crap.

- Calvin Klein pinstripe suit: $340 (original price, $580, received $30’s worth of discount coupons for next bling-bling money-ain’t-a-thang outing)
- Levi’s 529 low cut jeans: $20 (original price, $40)
- Bass formal leather sandals: $4 (original price $60, marked down to $24, paid for with $20 coupons)
- 2 Nike shirts and 1 dry-fit shirt: $20 (original price, $65, sale price $30)

- The smile on my face when I walked out: PRICELESS!

To the shoppers out there, Judgey-Poo, G Man, Wazza - you guys would be in Heaven...

And yes, I’m broke. All the dollars I brought over are long gone. And we haven’t received any cash that is owed to us here. But I’ve got plastic, – it makes buying easier cos you’re not spending real money!

Funny story, I had three fucking cards declined when I tried to buy the suit the first time. Dude must’ve been thinking, “Dodgy Asian-African”.
