The Marriot

We're staying at the 4 star Marriot Hotel (pronounced Marri-ahh) in downtown Denver. About $130 a night. It's adjacent to our office building, basically go from the lobby of the hotel through the electric doors into the lobby of our building. We occupy floors 26-29.

I'm in room 712, two doubles, smallish bathroom, decently sized TV with cable, and a cool view of the cityscape. They have one of those pay per view hotel channels - I've learnt from experience that anything you watch is charged, even if you check it out for a split second. Yes, there's a porn channel. I HAVE NOT watched it, what kind of a guy do you think I am? And the hotel bill is itemised, so I don't want no "Debbie does Denver" on the bill... try explaining that to the office!

But I charge EVERYTHING to the room. Room service, drinks, valet. That stuff is supposed to come out of our per diem, but this way will get the office to pay for that shit. Very shhneaky!

But we're only at the Marriot 'til Thursday. Then we move into our townhouse just down the road.

'Scuse the dirty room, but I just woke up when I snapped these. And my Hispanic housekeeper will be in soon. "Hello, meester Law, I come to cleeening yur room Senor"




And in other news. A 49ers player collapsed and died after a game versus the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the day I arrived, No one is sure what caused it. Other issues is the cost of gas, especially since everybody drives big trucks.


And just some bling bling money ain't a thang, it's all 'bout the Benjamins.
